OLS recently completed a decommissioning project in Alexandria, VA. Our assignment was to complete a data center and HVAC termination. This kind of project can be very intricate, but it is nothing that OLS can’t handle.
This project was accomplished with the removal and disposal of data racks and overhead cable racking, the termination of electric to sub panels UPS A, UPS B, and UPS C, and the removal and disposal of panels. After this was completed, our team terminated electricity to panel Gen 1 and removed all of the circuits back to the distribution panel located in the electric room. OLSs’ team then removed and disposed of the panel, terminated all conduits below a drop ceiling, valved off and cap chilled water lines to four Liebert HVAC units located in the data center, and much more.
Here at OLS, we know the logistics and planning completed at the beginning of your project are important to deliver a smooth decommissioning of your current space. We strive to take that plan and clear your space quickly and expertly; whether you are moving to another space, completing an in-place renovation, or experiencing a merger & acquisition, our liquidation and decommissioning processes can help you be successful.
